November 20th > Henry Coe Riders Host Girls Rock
Beginner+ & above recommended for this no-drop ride!
Henry Coe Riders extend an invitation to Girls Rock participants and their (male & female) guests for a special satellite ride, with breakfast provided by First Street Coffee and House of Bagels, and a post-ride potluck BYOB tailgate.
Please refer to our Ride Level descriptions to determine which group you will be most comfortable riding with:
Beginner + Groups: Intro to Coe; Hunting Hollow, creek crossings (technique) approximately 10 miles, less than 500 feet climbing (2 hours)
Intermediate: Climb up JD to Spike Jones, approximately 12 miles, about 2k feet elevation gain
Intermediate +: From Spike Jones w/add on: continue up Coit road to Woodchoppers to connect to Anza, approx 15 miles about 2k feet gain
Advanced Ride: TBD...possible course is Serpentine to Grizzly
Alternatives: All ride up Coit fire road together, allow group to filter, with leaders taking point for the return flight---there are so many fun options from here!

Schedule
8:30 am Volunteers can show up to help with set-up, logistics/etc.
8:30 - 9:30am Pre-ride mingling, coffee
9:00am Ride guide meeting, Organize ride levels (groups)
9:30-10am Announcements, group photo
10-10:30am Roll out
1:00pm-1:30pm+ Post-ride, return to tailgate

Please watch the weather the week leading up to ride day: We will cancel the ride if we have heavy rain...Light rain is doable at Coe!
